Prohunter barrels... where?

Shotgun barrels are pretty much unobtanium without bringing them in from the states from what I've seen and heard in AB and BC for the last 3yrs, shops are rather hesitant to bring in ANY barrels really...

I've found .204 and something else that I can't remember last summer at kodiak outfitters in barrhead, the fella I talk to there is a bit of a pro hunter enthusiast so he does get the odd barrel in... Wolverine in Red Deer also gets the odd one in, when I was there last fall they had several 30-06 barrels with real tree camo forend's brand new but hiding in the back...

I've got a 28" fluted PH 7-08 barrel... Got anything ya wanna trade? :D
 
The T/C wholesaler that my store deals with has a couple 7.08 stainless fluted pro-hunter barrels in stock, but to bring them to the shop I would have to put it on the shelf with a sticker price of about 550 bucks - which is why it's at the wholesaler still :)

There is not a great assortment at the place we deal with but do see 45/70, 270, 7mm and a couple others listed in the Encore line - many more for the dimensions rifle, and that's just one wholesaler.

Any shop that carries any T/C barrels can see what their suppliers have in stock and you can take it from there - just have to ask.
