Project Dirt Pig

Nice day shoot'n boys! Sorry I couldn't attend.
The hay season is just starting to get going and with the lack of rain the secound cut is gona be slow coming back. Dry weather aint good for chuck shooting. Thye come up and eat early then won't come up again till evening. They get their total water intake from what they eat with the dew. I've seen times when we drove 200+ miles to shoot only one and then the next time shoot 20 in less than an hour. Good Boys:)

Let me talk to your Boss DB and I can probably fix it so you get #### canned and you can hunt all summer....:evil:
I ordered a new scope for the .25WSSM... should be here for the next shoot. I am gonna try for 600 yards in the stadium field....:cool:
 
I thought I would say good shooting but in fact I actualy hate you people for having fun without me :D :D

on the lighter side I heard a rumor that savage is now making a 6.5x284 norma in a production rifle with a 30" tube 6oz trigger etc etc .....DB theres yer new piggy plinker haha, good shooting guys
 
Figures that Savage would come up with an affordable Target Rifle in that configuration... they are grabbing up little pieces of the market right across the board.:cool:

I think we're going to get out in the next 2 weeks...
Its hard to get time off approved when your boss is your hunting partner.
I dont think we're both allowed out of the office at the same time for fear something will die :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Just got a new 22-250 Browning varmint stalker that the jury is still out on...
Its a shooter, but...

I just love my Sako too much

Okay...checked out Savage web site...only available in 308....we are under a caliber restriction of under 270. Bummer! 22-250 isn't all that interesting to me as I have the Swift...nor is the 223. The Sako varminter and the Swift go out next Monday for the next round!
