Just recently purchased 2 brand new promag 10/32 round mags for my new sub2000. I purchased them locally but not from a store. As I do with any magazine new or used I load them to check capacity. My problem is that I can put 11 rounds in both magazine with no more effort required than the 9th or 10th round.
I made a few calls and determined that for these mags to be legally pinned at 10 the rivet must be in hole 15, which they are. HOLDS 11 ROUNDS
I know that the simple solution here is to just re rivet the mag so just as a test I used a pin to determine the next hole. I assumed by moving it over one to pin 14 may do it. NOPE STILL 11 ROUNDS.
In order for me to pin it properly I need to move the rivet up one to hole 13 but in doing so will now only allow me 9 rounds.
Any one else ever come accross this? I really only bought these mags for the look and they were a great deal. I have plenty of factory glock mags but having 1 less round than Im legally aloud bugs me a little. For now I am going to rivet it in the 13 hole just to make sure that im legal as this is my first pistol magazine rifle and I do all of my shooting on crown land.
