Bought a couple of 22 round 597 promag magazines the other day, they only load 6 rounds. To load the rest you need to take a screw driver and force the follower down at an angle through a slot in the rear pf the mag, then you can continue.
Even when unloaded, pushing down on the follower it stops at 6, unless you ONLY push on the rear of the follower to change the angle it goes down, then it clears the hole (where you can push down with rounds in) in the rear of the mag and you can keep loading them.
Any way to fix? This can't be the way they were designed.
