Today, I took a 6 month old marlin 795 with scope and mags and Ammo as a partial payment for a truck I sold. Included was two of these promag 25 round mags, which I've seen before and always thought they were just junky. Well, they feel good, not cheap plastic crap they seem built quite well. Both fit in the mag well nice and tight, but not "force it in, pry it out" tight.

Here's the thing, the previous owner told me they never fed very reliably. I just thought I'd check in with the wealth of knowledge here first and see if there are any tweaks on would do, or things to look for as to how to make em work?

I must say, these mags look much better than the Butler creeks in my 10/22's lol

Send an email to hical a sight sponsor. They might know or try YouTube. I don't recall ever reading a bad review other then the last shot bolt hold open doesn't work with them

I have never had a problem with them feeding in my 795 or Papoose. The only issue I've had is that they don't activate the last shot bolt hold open.

Didn't think the Papoose had a last shot bolt hold open. With my Marlin M70 I get about 1 jam every mag. It was much worse before they broke in. I little lube on the feed lips seems to help for some reason.

Cool cool. Will give them a try tomorrow, they're currently sitting with 27 rounds in em to break in the spring. These ones do activate the last shot hold open. The rifle is only 6 months old, so I'm assuming the mags are newer and just need more of a break in.

I liked the looks so much I ordered 2 more from Bullseye London at $23 a piece, and seeing as how they had CCI SV in stock I had to grab some of that too lol
