Proof research carbon wrapped barrel on a model 70 crf

Looking to find a shop that can rebarrel my all weather extreme 7mm rem mag with a proof research carbon wrapped barrel. I have read that some smiths dont like to work on the crf model 70s. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get this done?

Can always try Insite Arms or Alberta Tactical. Both deal with Carbon barrels but not sure of the issues with the model 70

Does it have a coned breech? It is a bit of an obstacle without the proper setup.

No big deal for us, we do these regularly and the coned breach if it has one is also no big deal as our own actions have coned breaches.

What is the ballpark cost of the rebarreling a model 70 minus the cost of the barrel etc as obviously that depends on materials chosen?

Give the guys at Insite a call. They can do a coned breach, they did a beaut of a job on my Defiance Deviant Elite crf.
