proper bayonet for 1942 longbranch

what would be the proper bayonet for the time, for a 1942 No4mk1* Longbranch >??

I like the looks of the no9 bayonet but never see them for sale with the frog/sheath..... whats the reason ?

Proper bt for the the #4 would be the #4 bt.
the #9 scabbards were retained for use with the L1 bayonet.

It will be the No4 Mkll spike bayo.
The Longbranch "LB" and the Canadian C arrow will also be stamped on it.

They're extremely common...look at any gun show. Should be able to find a nice LB one with scabbard for from $10-$25. Also look on ebay.
