I'm happy to say I just got back from the range with my JRC .40S&W and 100 of 100 rounds made a nice "bang"! :)

I bought this gun used before Xmas and I was having problems with light strikes. It started as maybe 1 or 2 in a 100, then got as high as 10 in 40. So, fearing I would get a "you bought it used so we can't help you" I still emailed JRC to see what it would cost me to fix. Well, we spoke a couple of times and finally Tom sent me a firing pin and spring - no charge, not even for postage.

I put in the new firing pin and spring and it ran flawlessly today, no feed, eject or light strikes at all - zero. I am really happy and especially happy with JRC, who as far as I am concerned went above an beyond as I bought it used. Maybe to them it's a few dollar part, but I'm impressed that a) they listened and b) they helped me when it seems most manufacturers try to find all the rasons they "can't" help.

Thanks Tom and JRC - colour me happy now.

Yup they definitely will go the extra mile to help .
I had similar issues with a used 40 JR & they sent me a bunch of replacement parts no charge .
It's too bad so many of these things had problems right out of the box but once you get the bugs out they work great

My 9mm has worked great. I'm very pleased with it. I picked up a 30 rnd mag for mine. It looks goofy in my Glock but it realy looks good in the JR. Man I wish it wasn't pinned to 10rnds. But my wallet is

I have one in .45 and have had no issues with it whatsoever. The guys down at JRC are great and very easy to deal with, can't say anything bad about their little carbines.

In my searches this is seemingly rare, lots of .45s have issues. However, I have also read everywhere that JRC is very helpful. When and where did you purchase it if you don't mind? I'm in the market for a JR and would like the .45 or 9mm. Anyone else have recent feedback on the .45?

Very curious about this as well. For the longest time the 45 version was having all kinds of troubles. Hopefully mxracer is the new norm and not the exception.
