Nice... cut that barrell down and dura-coat everything in desert tan. Then you can have an uber 3rd world tactical gun.

what do I trhink? well I think it is a post war Swiss rifle. Stock is not MP40 but it looks like one,grips are not mp 40, and it appears that the true caliber is 7.5mm
 
Is it just me, or does it look like you would have to remove the magazine to unfold the stock? That, and the fact that this "prototype" bears almost no resemblence to the real Stg45.
 
It's Fake, at least that's what they are saying on all the other forums.
Or is it Real?

Personally, I think it is a post war build (Czech?) that utilized some leftover stg parts. Compared to a lot of the late war Volkstrum stuff, the finish on this is immaculate. Nice looking rifle, regardless....

I am wondering about this seller though. Boy, you would have to have big ones to ask 100K for something with no provenance or history to back it up.

oh that damn thing..I made that out of an old beater cooey years back and sold it to some rich yank :rolleyes: :p :D he must be bored of it

i think you guys are missing the fact that yes it is a prototype and is worth a lot of money to collectors. But no it is not an Stg 45 and that is the mistake of the owner back in 1968.

Well...I think everyone is saying its not a anything. Not until SOME kind of proof other than the claims of the add. I find it hard to believe NO ONE here has ever heard of this thing.

Im not saying its fake....but its fake

I didn't miss that fact at all

as you said its a prototype for sure.....of something other then what he is claiming it to be. BUT in the fellows defence.....thats probably what he was told way back when and he didn't know any better....OR he is just a lying sack OOOOOOOO poop:eek:
