provincal parks question

if a provincial park (BC) is open to the discharge of firearms only during a lawful hunting season.

and it is a open season right now (raccoon and hare)

does that mean I can go plinking in the park (following the 400m from park roads law)? or can I only discharge if I'm actually hunting something?

You'd best ask your MNR people. You'd might be required to have a hunting licence just to be there during a hunting season.
