Hello, new to this group and hunting. I own property inside the French River provincial park. Am I able to hunt my property and the surrounding area, as long as I avoid the wildlife zones(I think that is what they are called? If so where do I find the zones on a map? I am on the lower French river delta before it gets to Georgian Bay.

Thanks,

in Alberta if it only says provincial park we cannot hunt it, but if it says wildland provincial park then we can, good questions to ask when you're in multi-use areas, I'm sure someone in your area will come along and clarify for you but your local hunting regs should also, and they should be online as well

we have some areas that are so littered with parks, corridors and sanctuaries that it puts people off even trying to navigate all the invisible borders etc. and best to have a gps with 3rd party maps that show all those boundaries and we often also take typical other maps for the area and blot in our own lines for the different hunting zones and then all the parks within as well, take your time, do it right, know exactly what you're doing when boundaries and parks come into play

iHunter says a bunch of French River Provincial Park is huntable. A few private properties scattered around. PM me if you want a zoomed in shot of your location.

Thanks. Yeah it’s only been a park since 86 I think and people who had private lots still have them, that is how my property came to be. I may have to invest in that I Hunter app.
