If you want to try the Gas Gun Series, the Gunslinger match at Rock Castle Shooting Center (same place as LRSE and Mammoth Sniper Challenge) is the place to go. Within driving distance from Windsor and Sarnia. Lodge to stay in right at the range with an all inclusive package. Right now the registration is pretty low, but the organizers still want to go ahead with it even if they don't have enough participants for the PRS points. FYI: they have accumulated an impressive prize table! 
An AR that is competitive in 3 Gun or DCRA SR is more than enough for this discipline.
