Great match with a great bunch of guys and gals hosted by Valcartier Tir Longue Distance.

Nice variety over the 9 stages, targets from around 300 to 1037 metres. Good mix of prone, positional shooting, movement, and props.

Quebec hospitality was on full display with a lunch of hot dogs and hamburgers grilled up right on the pad. The weather even cooperated with just the odd light shower here and there. Driest match I've shot all year.

The sponsors included Cadex, Nanuk, TASK Canada, Redd Nobb Custom, 693 precision, Gong Joe, and Agence Gravel. Cadex had a nice demo set up for some of their fine professional products. Big thanks to all the sponsors for their support.

Hopefully someone can post some pics. I'm tapping this out on my phone, so I'll post some when I get to a computer.

Thanks to Max and his team of officials and volunteers, thanks to all the participants.

À prochaine!

I`ve shot all three matches this season and they were superb!

The matches have evolved from all prone, 20 rounds matches at various distances, to full blown PRS type ( they even had one of the PRS qualifier at this one). The once generous time allowance for the stages (3 to 4 minutes) are down to 90 seconds for the same number of targets and more difficults scenarios and it warms my heart to see that no one complained about it, everyone just upped their game and started shooting better and faster and this is why I like practical shooting games, because they force you to get better.

Lotsa new faces, lotsa a smiles, lotsa guns going off, what a wonderfull way to spend Canada Day

Here`s the few pictures I took
