I recently got some new 22-250 Prvi Partizan brass, and I can barely get the primers in. I normally use my RCBS hand priming tool, but I couldn't get them in at all, I had to use my press and it was still a struggle. The primers even look unusually flattened out.
Using Federal 210. I measured the primer pockets and they are all pretty much right on .210 and I even tried using the primer pocket reamer on my case trimmer and it's still tough.
Matbe out of round or?? I've used the same batch of primers in other cases no problem.
Anybody else have this problem??

I can't speak to that particular brass -- I generally reload .303 British PP brass -- but I find Prvi Partizan brass to be a pleasure to work with when it comes to primers. Like I said, my experience with 22-250 PP brass is non-existent so take what I said with a Sifto box worth of salt.

I have been using Prvi brass in several different chamberings and have had no issues that I can speak of as to overly tight primer pockets, nice and snug yes but not too tight. I can't say that for some S&B 9.3X62 I loaded recently, very tight primer pockets on them, at least the ones I primed.

PMC primer pockets in 7 mag were all over the map, from loose .....to too tight from once fired range brass............Harold

I had the same experience with Graf (made by PPU) in 9.3X62. Super tight primer pockets which caused the primers to flatten right out upon installation, using CCI 200s.................

I bought 100 pcs. of 7.62 X 39 virgin brass and had to do all the primer pockets with the tool. None were too loose, but there was a lot of variation in the primer pocket dimensions. After I'd done them all I didn't have any problems in seating the primers (CCI200's) with my hand priming tool.
