Prvi Partizan PPU 7.62x39 123grn Soft Point in a semi-auto

Has anyone ever used the serbian 7.62x39 round "Prvi Partizan PPU 7.62x39 123grn Soft Point" in their Vz58?

Shot a whitetail buck at about 90 yards with this ammo. Complete penetration through the lungs and exited the far side. Showed very good expansion. I believe this stuff to be amongst the best hunting ammo in this caliber and I wish I would have stocked up when it was much cheaper.

Prvi makes good ammo. I see no reason it wouldn't work flawlessly.

Oh ya, the stuff I used was PSP. I heard that there is also round nose stuff too. I imagine it would work fine.

I wanted to ask around before throwing it into the semi-auto.

It is the round nose lead bullet. I'll shoot a phone book or two to see if I can see expansion.

Worked good on a large buck from my SKS. Quartering towards me through front left shoulder with an exit.

The round noses should expand really well. They should penetrate very straight too as in my experience, round noses tend to be that way.
