prvi partizan

Bought a couple of boxes of prvi partizan 55 gr .223 ammo today, It`s made in Serbia. just wondering, has anyone here used it and what do you think of it? It`s gonna be a couple of months before I get a chance to try it out

Sorry it's not the same caliber - but I have shot both 7.62x54r and 30-06 PRVI and it's great stuff.
Nice brass.

All their ammo I've used shot very well and it is also very reasonably priced especially the old military calibers (7.62x54r, 8mm Mauser, 7.62x39)

I use it. The .223 & .308 are top shelf quality for factory loads.

It burns dirty like Winchester ammo and from what I've heard the brass is good for reloading.

I've only shot 5 rounds of 7x57mm, but it seems quite accurate.

I guess I'll ring in here with a positive as well.We are using Prvi brass and bullets in a number of different rifles and have had no problems at all with any of it.My latest project was loading up some rounds for a Steyr Mod.95 carbine using Prvi unfired brass with 208gr.330 dia. FMJ bullets and they shot just fine.I personally think that a company like Prvi should be commended for the line of components they are producing as it makes things so much easier for shooters of older military rifles to keep the old numbers barking.My opinion only.

I find that the brass is better than most if not all American stuff. The PRVI loads seem to be quite hot in 7.62x39, but I can't say for sure about the .223. Very good ammo.

I used to use it in my mini 14. Great accuracy considering the gun. Many coyotes never complained either!

I concur on it being hot. I get 5.56 velocities with it in my gun (5.56 chamber), whereas no other commercial '.223' ammo comes close Never noticed it being dirty though (not to say it isn't).
The brass is actually marked 5.56 but that may only be because it's European.
