PSA 5.7mm PDW

This will be the reason to buy a 5.7X28 PDW. The problem with pistol mag angling to the body vs straight mag in SMG is that the stock will make it difficult for anything but big hand to shift for the finger to hit the pistol style mag buttom. The stock will be on the inside of the arm and won't allow the hand to shift the grip to point the weapon in for the thumb to hit the button. That's why mag in the grip SMG like HK MP7 and UZI don't use pistol style mag button. MP9 has a thumb mag button because the original Steyr TMP was intended to use without a stock.

Unfortunately this will be something to live with. Or they can use a HK style paddle.

don't think people buy 5.7 or 4.6 in the civie world to dispatch people in the US. Most people buy them for novelty in gaming and then try to find other practical purposes for it, which aren't many.

Cool factor this is more, 4.7 is probably worst than 5.8 but I always kinda want a MP7.....but 3.5K USD is too much dough for this though.

2m views in 3 weeks, and there are aprox. 72m gun owners in the USA. His video might make a small dent but I would think the vast majority of gun owners don't have any clue the video even exists. Besides its not like he's the first person to shoot gel with a 5.7, MAC did a 5.7 vs 22wmr video 9 years ago.

I'd love to try out the gun, but I don't have much interest on the 5.7 cartridge, so I'm not about to buy one. James from TFBTV mentions in his top 5 pccs of SHOT video that he's pretty sure it's just a 3d printed clamshell on a PSA Rock 5.7 pistol.

I bet this round is awesome in full auto. But semi auto? Sounds very underwhelming.

Why? What makes it "cool"?

I've shot an awful lot of SMG's. Not sure how I'd rate them by "coolness"? Most of them are very different. Probably for me the "cool factor" would hinge on history, reputation and rarity. So I'd put the Thompson and MP40 at the top of the list, even though there are way better SMG's available.

An original 45ACP MAC10 fits all of my measures of "coolness" but the thing was so darn intimidating to shoot that I wouldn't rate it as cool at all. So it seems "coolness" is pretty subjective.

A friend has a PS90 but I haven't had a chance to see it yet. I will be interested to try it for sure but it is not on the list of things I'd consider plunking my money down on.

I'd still like to see guns like this and the PS90 available in 22 magnum, then, apart from the FA gear, we could have close to exact clones, with full capacity mags and NR based on overall length. The power wouldn't be all that different either.
