I called Epps last week inquiring about the AR15 pistol grip adapter and the gentlemen, after checking the computer for part number, told me they are out of stock and backordered. In fact there were four people waiting for the pistol grips to come in. This conversation was on thursday.

TOday i passed by and dropped in just to see for myself. Sure enough, five sets were hanging on the wall.

If you are one of the people waiting for the stock to come in....wait no more, they have been there the entire time.

It sounds like what it's like going into Canadian Tire for anything that they might have to double check on....laziness pure laziness lol

not to be that guy.....but they get new stock everyday

I thought of that, but the guys specific words were "we haven't received keltec stuff in months and don't see it coming in any time soon".

What are the chances that they just happen to receive 5 adapters and put them on the shelf within 48 hours of us talking?

If you've ever been there you'll realize why I had my suspicions. There is stuff crammed everywhere, boxes of misc stuff that arrived and never got inventoried or priced.

In the end I love going there as it's just like a kid going to a candy store, but their inventory tracking leaves much to be desired.

I have ordered from them in the past, some of the items were back ordered, after 3 months and getting billed twice for one part I was left not very impressed. But in the last 2 months I have ordered some reloading supplies twice from them and not only did they have hard to find shell plates and springs at a good price, they showed up in a day and a half at the door both times. I have to admit they did a great job with my last two orders...Thanks Ellwood Epps..

Always consider the bigger picture. They are a fairly big retailer. They receive stock everyday from a variety of brands. They get hundreds of customers inquiring about a wide variety of products. It would actually be pretty fvcking amazing if this exact scenario didn't happen, repeatedly.

Sure, it could happen. But when the guy on the other line's telling me not to hold my breath about seeing any kel-tec stuff anytime soon it tells me they arent expecting any. He basically told me to try and find them somewhere else...

Now, i'm in no way or form bashing Ellwood Epps. I've shopped lots there and LOVE going there. This was simply as a public service announcement that if someone is waiting for these adapters, they are in stock.

Now i should have gone and asked them to look up the part number and that would have verified if their inventory system was wrong, but it was a saturday and busy as hell.
