PSA: Injury, KSG forward grip sliding off and muzzle awareness (VERY GRAPHIC)

Wow, that looks hellishly painful. I own a UTAS 15 and will even be more careful after seeing that, mind you I do not operate it like a maroon anyway!

Thanks for sharing.

That looks like a nasty injury. That being said, playing stupid games can result in winning stupid prizes. Hopefully the dumbass with only one working hand won't waste everyones time and money suing.

Article said lawsuits are being prepared. I wonder if Coors will also be named in the lawsuit?

The fault lies solely with the user, not Kel tec in any way.

Even if the grip broke, the guy was rapid firing quickly enough that he still pulled the trigger without thinking about it.

That is what I like to call blind rapid-fire... Shooting so fast that you don't have a chance to stop if something happens.

He paid a steep price to learn that lesson, let's just hope it was enough to stop others from doing the same.

Sounds like the Pro Mag Archangel fore grip combined with operator error was to blame, not Kel-Tec.

“Nothing but a polymer nipple secures this grip to the rail — this nipple partially sheared off during first use.”

He should have bought a grip with with a steel cross bolt, but I'm not sure if even that's a good idea considering the pic rail on the fore grip is also made of polymer.

yes it does, some less than honest lawyers use the threat of a suit as a club to force a settlement. They never intend to actually file suit unless it is just to suck more money from the injured party.

Two year old article......Yep agreed. What is it Forest Gump says? "Stupid is as stupid does."

What's this stop they are saying all KSG's come with?

Cheers
Jay

Magpul AFG 1 won't fit, even with trimming off the sides of the aftermarket grip (ask me how I know) I think the pump/ slide is outside of the dimension's of the grip... I opted for the XTM hand stop.
