hey guys. so i applied for my r/pal last march and have still not received it they did interviews with my refs and did a criminal background check. i have a criminal charge for failure to stop for police and there where other charges that where dropped, one was driving under the influences of drugs.
iv been playing phone tag with the rcmp officer in charge of my app. and it comes down to them mailing me a form for my family doctor.
some questions included are.
emotional disorders?
psychotic illness?
personality disorders?
chronic alcohol abuse?
chronic drug use?
Neuromuscular / skeletal disorders?
all yes or no questions and then theres another section for all the same listed above but asking other questions like
abnormal behavior, aggressiveness, impairment of judgment , difficulty in perception, slowing down or acceleration of psycho motor activity, deterioration in cognition, abnormal motor function/ability
in the first cover page it mentions circumstances to the doctor of witch i have agreed to release this information to him and that "pursuant to the provisions of the firearms act s. C" 1995, 42-43-44 Elizabeth II, for public safety issues.
I can get a little more detailed but i'm in a bit of a rush atm, just thought i would like some peoples input, anyone else in the same boat?
