PTG rem 700 AR bottom mettal any good?

I would like to convert my 700P 223 to detachable mag and and searching for a bottom mettal for AR mag. the only one I found yet is the ptg. How good is it?
Are there other options?

I would prefer ar mags because I could use same on both rifles.
 
I have one that was never installed that I got a while ago.
So i cant say anything about how it works once its fitted, but different mags fit the magwell perfectly and lock in with no issues.

I have since moved on to other projects, so if either of you want one I can sell mine. Just send me a PM.
 
Got one of these for a project.
It will not work with a standard .223 receiver. The magazines cannot go deep enough for the bolt to pick up a round. I tried it with a receiver that I had altered to accept Remington detachable magazines. Good to go. I suspect that the unit would be fine with a Remington DM receiver, but not with a regular ADL/BDL, unless altered. Alteration is easy enough, but requires a milling machine.
