Seems to me that 6 single mag pouches would put you in roughly the same spot.

That is why I like my ready tactical pouches

33" waist and I can get 22 shot shells in 3 caddies, 4 pistol mags and 2 AR mags from roughly 1 o'clock to 7 on my waist. I can fit a last AR mag to make 3 on the belt and it would just about be at my spine.

If anyone is interested, I can post a picture up when I get home... It's nice running all my 3-gun from a belt and not having to deal with chest rigs or drop leg.

I wear 3 double mag pouches in production on a 31" waist with no troubles and I weigh 200lbs, i'd say hit the gym and work on some shoulder flexibility and your set.

ive got 5 singles and a 32" waist and its not even to the half way point of my back, 6 would put me at half way, not 80% of the way back to my gun
