Hi, all you folks shooting Puma Model 92 rifles / carbines in 38 Special / 357 Magnum. I've been considering purchasing one, but because I like the heavier bullets for this caliber, ie. 175-200 grain bullets, and knowing that all Pumas have 1:38" twist barrels, I want to find out from the people who actually use them, whether they will accurately shoot this weight of bullets or not. The people at Puma say not to fire reloaded ammunition in their rifles.
Have any of you shot this weight of bullet in their Puma? I currently own/shoot this weight of bullet in my Marlin 1894c, but don't want to soup up the loads too much, as apparently the Puma, designed on the Model 1886 Winchester action design, albeit on a smaller chassis, is much stronger than the Marlin design.
Thanks.
