looking for a pump action .22. can't remember the manufacturer. they made them in the 20's to the 70's. used in fairs befor thoes air bb machine guns. any leads would be appreciated. "rossi?"

The rifle most commonly used as a gallery rifle was the Winchester Model 62 and 62A. The Models 1890 and 1906 are its direct ancestors. Rossi made a copy of these rifles as well. The Rossi copy was also later branded as a Taurus.

I've always heard the Winchester Model 61 refered to as a Gallery Gun, they are pricey.

The Win 06 through the 62 were arcade guns,if you want a win better dig deep. But the rossi will do just fine for a shooter.

how are the Rossi's for quality and finishing?

I have a nice little Rossi nickel plated carbine,fit and finish on mine is excellent and it's a very accurate little gun.Tons of fun to shoot.

At one time or other, every one made a pump.
Wincherster, Marlin, Browning, Stevens, savage,
and the list goes on.
Rem. made a very nice one also
Gallary guns where not all winch's
