Pump Action Rifle not Tactical

My pork missile is pretty tactical. I use it for smashing people in the head all the time. Nuthin' beasts bashing someone in the head with your tactical flesh rocket when they're not looking

Tactical Is definded by:

A) Was it explicitly designed for excellence in that purpose?
B) Is It used primarly for that purpose?

if it fufills these items it would be tactical.

it has to be designed somewhat for the job, i really cant hit a mugger with my keys and call them my "tactical Keys" they were not designed for that, and i normally dont use them as eye poppers.

Picking up an old hunting pump shotgun, when you hear a noise in the night, does not transform it into a Tactical Slaying Device, even though it may be used as such.

Also Who Gives a S**T? when you are looking down a barrel of a gun, you dont care if its "tactical" or not, its still quite able to kill you.

Use the word "Tactical" when refering to a weapon, gear, knife, etc, and I start to think that you are trying to sell me something.

Talk to me about Tactical Mindset and you have my attention.

Now having a reliable rifle that allows you to shoot effectively, D.V.C.,(accurate, powerful, fast, in that order of priority) is important. Action, calibre, sights, sling, light, vertical foregrip, , blah blah blah is seconday. The rifle is little evolved or improved in the last century. Reality check; whom would you rather have as a fire-team partner; Joe-average-guy-civie, with his uber-tactical wondergun, kitted out with all the latest pouches, sub-loads, vest and Oakleys, or a steely-eyed veteran with a good, basic rifle?

I never take myself seriously, but this stuff I do. Bitter old-guy rant off.
