Pushed in bullets question???

Just don't get the idea of trying it with a higher pressure round.
I was told the '94 has a built in safety factor of something like 40% for us handloaders who screw up now and then that's a good thing. (On a new gun in good condition) They are much stronger than a lot of people think.
They have been rechambered (the non big bore version) for the 307 and lived to tell the tale. (Not a good idea, it pushes the limits of the rifle)

I'm not surprised at all that they worked, and will continue to fire such rounds off myself when they happen IN THE 30-30

There were no problems at all. No high pressure signs at all. Primers were rounded, and all cases extracted easily.

So contrary to some posts, the pressure did not increase dramatically.I am not surprised. :) :)

Pressure signs are not the same for a cartridge rate for 42000 PSI as a cartridge rated at 50000 PSI, as alluded to in the above comment. However, the rifle and shooter survived, so you should really buy yourself a lottery ticket
