Put a value on my used M&P 9mm

M&Ps are only worth 450 new? no wonder everyone likes them and police issues them, thought they were like 600

I would like to know where any of you are seeing used M&Ps for under $500. I have one myself that I'm looking to sell and about the cheapest I've seen one advertised is about $500 and $525-550 for the range kits.

I have to laugh at people who complain that EE prices are too high yet when people inquire about how much a gun should sell for they go the other way and give unrealistically low prices. A fair price for a non-range kit M&P is $500, give it take.

I totally agree, fishing for a good deal and hope the seller doesn't know any better. You see guys with norinco 1911's, change grips and want $400 + shipped......if I saw a M&P for $375, I'd probably buy it(own one already)just because it's stupid cheap.

You guys have to remember his isnt the range kit and it comes with a mag that wont load to full capacity so its value is not near a range kit with all the crap it comes with.

irunguns was $599 regular for the kit, cheaper stateside, and cheaper still with the black friday sale when that was on.

+1. When you ask what should I sell my gun for most people sill say what they would like to pay because they can't find anywhere else to buy it for that much. lol M&P in VG+ condition is a $500 gun.

This is getting off track of the OP's original question. If everyone is so interested in finding the best price for an M&P9/40 kit, start a new thread. I mentioned they are going for $625 at Accuracy Plus (Kit version). Thats the bottom line. Now, the OP can make up his mind on how much he wants to sell his for… He only has the gun and a couple mags. I personally think $500 is way to much but to each his own. I can buy a new one for around $525 give or take… Anyway...

I would ask around 450$ for it. It's funny how there's so many people undervaluing it looking to snag a deal, but when they put their own gun on EE it's full retail + shipping. I think for a used gun with low round count, and in mint condition it should be about 15% below retail price, so the buyer is saving about 25% total with tax etc. For used guns in less then mint condition the % should go up accordingly.

Anywhere around the $500 mark is fair.

It's not new, but 350 rds is nothing.

Left handed Serpa would be worthless to right handers, and the sizable amount of people who hate Serpas, so it brings nothing to the table for around 95% of the population.

There were 3 used m&p 9mm that sold for between $400-450 over the last 2 months on ee with low round counts....I know cause I bought one of them. Not range kits, just the pistol, 3 mags and the backstraps (and the cheesy lock). If you want it to sell, price it to sell and it will.
If you want to fondly remember cuddling it then put it up at $700 and enjoy never selling it. In the end, people need to remove the sentiment from the equation and price it at a price that reflects it as used (you shot it, it dropped 25% of sticker price), just like a car.

It's not that hard - excellent condition (no sign of use- ie unfired + unholstered) 80% of the lowest new price you can find before taxes, great condition (as new but fired) 75%.

ETA - for the EE it's 1.25x the highest retail price you've ever seen (not necessarily just in Canada), plus taxes, plus excise tax, plus shipping to and from Timbuktu via next day air, insured.
