Can you put a adjustable stock on a Rock River LAR-15 .223 cal Pistol or does it have to stay with the buffer tube only? do i have to change from a pistol registraion to a AR-15 registraion and do i have to give up my 10 round mag or do i just have to pin it and notify canada firearms? the lower is marked pistol only,now does that apply to canada or USA for the pistol only? advice please from everyone,thank you
 
The magazine is a controlled part by itself. Its regulated as a pistol mag, where its used is irrelevant as its sold and classed as a pistol mag.

Putting a stock on a pistol AR is an issue in the US, not so much up here. There you have to get a class 3 stamp for it if you turn it into a SBR.

I believe you have to notify the CFO if you change the barrel length or modify calibre. I am not sure about stock addition. I dont think its required but perhaps you should ask the retailer (Questar?) you got it from?
 
yes i got it from questar a couple years back, now also another question is if i change my A2 flash to a flaming pig kx3 does that change the barrel length?
