I just bought above mentioned pistol and am wanting to install a Trijicon RMR or Razor Red Dot onto the slide. the gun comes "optics ready" so has the cut out around the rear site. I am having a whale of a time finding the plate to mount the optic to.
Surely someone on the forum has already done this for 3 gun or IPSC open/unlimited. Any suggestions short of making 1 myself?

CZ does not build an Optic Ready version of the TS Orange. You'll have to get it milled or find a plate that replaces the rear sight. CZ Custom did make a frame mount that fit the thumb pedal holes.

If I'm wrong and CZ started making a TS Orange OR, I want one asap!

Well what I ordered is a TSO that is supposed to be optic ready. Apparently the frame is slightly different from the 75 and Shadow. I see that CZ USA makes a side mount to replace the thunb stop but I really don't like that arrangement.

Is it a custom modification that is being done to a special order?

If you are expecting factory, you might want to double check just so there are no surprises. I do hope they are starting to make them, though.

I'm looking at CZ's website right now, doesn't look like the CZ 75 Tactical Sport Orange is optic ready, like the say Shadow 2 OR.

You'll probably need to get something like EGW's adapter plate, which replaces the rear sight assembly:

got one from toni systems for my TSO and they don't fit at all,
I ended up buying two from cz custom,a frame mount and a dovetail mount because it was such a pain to bring one over I ordered both,I went with the frame mount so I still have the dovetail mount, might put it up on EE

What is the difference with shadow and orange.
Any optic ready gun should/will have plates with them.
I think it is silly having to use a plate, just rises the sight back up. the plates are drilled for most sights, just drill the slide the same.
Just my idea on that. I was just going to do that on a Jericho long slide, but have to find a barrel for it first.

The TSO is NOT optics ready, so the options are a plate to replace the rear site if you are ok to slide mount or a frame mount, which in theroy is less abusive to the RDS.
The TSO is closer related to the Checkmate than the Shadow. The frame and slide are slightly larger.
