Putting AR stock on Remington 870 Express with ghost ring

I am thinking of putting AR stock on Remington 870 Express with ghost ring. I am wondering if it will make the ghost ring useless? Thanks for you input?

Could someone post some pics of your Remington 870 Express with AR Stock?
 
Just use a Mesa low tube adapter... for me it puts the GRs exactly where i want them. I really like it, i am pretty sure the low tube adapter is intended to be used with the shotguns original sights where as the LEO/hightube ones are meant for use with optics...

Your's sure looks like the LEO adapter, from what I can see. ;)

I have the LEO as well as the High Tube. The LEO is definately designed for open sights while the high tube will only take optics. I love them both, but they are vastly different. :D
