That would depend on your learning style. If you are a visual learner you would probably gain a lot. If you are an accomplished long distance target shooter who has an easy time understanding the mathematical equations in the book then maybe not. Much of the video is Bryan standing in front of a white board explaining information covered in the book with diagrams and then some "on the range visuals". I enjoyed watching his position and some small pointers while he was shooting which helped me get more out of the book. If you are the type of person who retains classroom learning better then reading a book the DVDs could be helpful ... but that is just my 2 cents
