Putting together a TC muzzleloader

Hi fellas,

I want to put together a ml built on the TC frame for my brother in law. I was just wondering if anyone has bought the receiver and then a bergara or similar barrel to get what they want length wise etc. Where did you buy the barrel/receiver? How did it work out for you?

I think from "Frame" & "Receiver" the OP means building one for the Contender. I've seen one somewhere before, but I don't know the details. No reason whatsoever why it won't work, inline percussion of course. I'd get the barrel from Track of the Wolf and work with it from there. Custom breech plug with nipple the middle I suppose.

Looking to build an Encore muzzle loader or a Hawken style? There's always Encore muzzle loaders for sale on the EE.

Pretty sure Cabelas Canada sells the frame only. Not sure about barrels, I found them (or not found them) to be hard to track down. Good luck!
