Putty for bedding?

I just run out of the clay putty like stuff(that doesn't dry out ) used for filling gap and hole during bedding and I don't know what to use since I don't find the same thing in hobby shop?

What do you guys use? And where you buy it?

Get some Plasticene or modelling clay. Hobby/toy store should have it.

Plasticene and PlayDoh gets my vote. Modeling clay works but the downside is that by the time you're ready to separate the parts, some of the clay would have dried up and harden to the receiver and stock and you'll spend some time cleaning it off or leave it if it doesn't bother you.

I use plumbers putty available at any hardware store and I find it easier to clean up than other materials I've used.
