PWS FSC556 and PWS MK1's Questions

I was wondering how bad are the muzzle blast (over pressures) are on the PWS FSC556? and do you guys know if the muzzle devices on the PWS MK1's (Mk116, etc) are welded and pinned or can I easily swap it out. Thanks :)
 
The left right muzzle blast from the FSC556 is not crazy bad but if you are shooting next to someone for a long period they may get angry :) The recoil reduction does work great on it.
As far as I am aware, the only PWS rifle with a pinned muzzle device is the 14.5" version to make legal in the US.
I have a 12.5 and the muzzle device was not pinned and a 16.1 would have no reason to be pinned.
 
You don't need to pin them. They're typically only welded and pinned to make them so called permanent lengthening to the barrel in the US so that 14.5" barreled rifles make the 16" limit for SBRs the US has under the NFA.

My FSC556 is just screwed on and loctited (removable strength) as per the instructions. Close to 1000 rounds put through it and no issues.
