I'm trying to decide to either keep my factory installed A2 or swap it out for the PWS FSC556 on my DDM4v2 16" upper
I have been researching some info on compensators...NOT pure muzzle brakes as I see those in a different category.

Its seems from what I have read the PWS FSC556 does slightly help mitigate muzzle rise but some people have said it affected the accuracy, for example their MOA at 100m opened up compared to the A2, bench shooting.
Now I did not see any data or actuall tests so this could be just the typical made up internet claims.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Based on my experiences with both in .223 & .308, it sounds bogus to me...but an interesting basis for some further testing.

There will be no difference other than the barrel harmonics will be altered slightly.
This may result in more accuracy or less accuracy with a given load.

Thanks for the replies , I just bought the PWS FSC556 from Questar and will install it this week when it arrives!
I have a new DDM4v2 upper, I will shoot some PMC 5.56 55gr with it...I will test it at 50m with an eotech EXPS2-0 and my ELCAN Specter Dr 1-4x at 100m
I also have some Federal 62gr Green tip....I'm not a very good bench shooter so if I manage 3-4" at 100m I would be happy.
If I can I will get some pics and report back...
