Anyone using one of these actions or complete rifles from PWS? I have been thinking of ordering one of the T3 Summit actions as I already have the rest of the parts to complete a rifle.
I haven't been able to find any posts or reviews that aren't already a couple of years old.

Any overall experience (good or bad) would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I think Questar is the only dealer showing them on their website for pre-order. I wonder if they have brought any in for anyone and if the 4-6 week delivery time was accurate. I wouldn't mind trying one myself in a .17 Mach2 project.

Wow thread revival :)

Since my last post I purchased a T3 Summit with trigger group from Questar. It was instock so I grabbed it, so I can't comment on order wait times.
I installed a 10/22 barrel I had in my parts bin and have since installed it into a Magpul X-22 stock. I have only had it out a couple of times so far so I haven't tried a variety of ammo in it. Seems to like CCI Mini-mags though. Fun to shoot :)
A .17 Mach 2 barrel for it would be icing on the cake ;)

Doesn't the T3 Summit bolt have dual extractors? Did you have to cut a second extractor slot into the barrel or did you just remove one extractor?

Yep, looks like there are dual extractors after all. The weak side extractor pushes back out of the way and doesn't require a second extractor slot.

You're correct, had to double check. Because the weak side extractor pushes back out of the way when the bolt is closed, I overlooked it. I thought it was just part of the ejector. This is how they get around only needing the single extractor cut of the 10/22 barrels.

Where can I find a .17 Mach 2 barrel?I ordered a T3 a few weeks back and its being shipped now.

I have not seen a .17 Mach 2, 10/22 barrel for sale in Canada recently. I had planned on machining my own and already have the barrel blank for it. Just need to buy a reamer, but didn't want to get one till I was sure I was going ahead with the project.

Okay, my turn to chime in here.

I bought my T3 from CRAFM for $1249 or something like that. I loved that rifle. It loved to shoot the CCI Stingers.

I loved how the toggle action allowed your pistol grip hand to remain on the grip and you cycled the bolt. Such a sweet and slick action. My son (with a biathlon background) also loved it.

I truly admired how the T3 Summit had a Ruger 10/22 footprint, any stock made for a 0.920" barrel channel was good to go, from uber expensive down to a Hogue overmolded stock. I had the 16" carbon wrapped tension barrel. Really cool and fun to shoot.

I had to sell it and let it go because my business needed a PR trainer, so back to my CZ Varmint series (455) that I bought from Wolverine for $470 plus plus.

I enjoyed that fact that the receiver has a 20 MOA pica tinny rail built into the receiver right from the factory. Most impressive.

There, is that enough feedback for you? If I had enough $$ to allow a few rim fires, I would buy another one in a heartbeat.

Cheers and bring on the questions....

Barney
