Anyone esle tracking this entirely new switch-calibre rifle design? It appears to be similar to the LTAC Raven concept, but designed by professional engineers and backed by a fairly major US firearms manufacturer. A user-error on the Barrel install results in stoppages during his first range trip. There are a couple of over-gassing issues during his second range trip due to running the gas system in reverse (on Adverse). Again, user error.

Check it out for when the OIC bans are lifted and new designs are permitted for import again. It looks to be pretty interesting....

Using a large frame for small frame cartridges like 223 and 300 blk is not efficient. No reason to have a bulky rifle to shoot small bullets.

They should have focused right the way on 6.5CM and 308 first, and then 8.6BLK, and eventually 277 Fury and 264 USA/LICC that sort of things

308 is pretty much on the way out, don't know how long it is going to take. 6.5CM mainly and 6.8/227F eventually are starting to take over already. That was spelt out quite clearly like 6 or 7 years ago with 6.5CM.

If you want what I think is really spiking my interest is the not an AR and not a 180 Global Ordnance Monolith. The barrel is one piece including the hider so that is a benefit for our barrel length laws, $1250 USD retail so $2500 Canadian by the time we can get one optimistically...plus the taxes.

That's the monster, I agree. Why not to have two base receivers - one for small/medium calibers and another for large ones, similar to XCR approach. Good to see non-AR design though. Buffer tube belongs to the past!

I have a Gen 1 PWS piston AR 11.5" carbine. They use a long piston system vs. short piston like that in LMT.
It's been over half a decade since I last shot it  but it was very smooth and reliable. They make good gear.

This is very close to finish Kar21 rifle, almost like "you got a nice design lets steal it" close.

It appears to be inferior to Kar21 internally, but UXR is nicer on the outside.
