I bought my wife a Px4 Storm for her birthday last week. She wants to take a course or two and would require a holster. I use a Serpa all the time at work(lets not go there!) and I want to avoid this holster for her, if they even make it. I would like something for the belt, not a thigh rig, as well as mag holders. Thoughts?

I like Safariland 6230's for my 92A1 and P226. CopsPlus sells Safariland 6280 (self-locking system, and available as light-bearing) and 6390 (automatic locking system, but not available as light-bearing) for the Px4. For mag pouches, I use Safariland 775 open-top triples.

How do you and your wife like the Px4? I've read mixed reviews, but I'm interested in one on the EE that's actually listed BELOW new retail price!

You can get a blade tech holster for the PX4. It is good if you want to shoot IPSC. I has no retention so if you courrse require a retention factor I would get something else.

I have a PX4 and I love it. A few thousand rounds down the pipe and never a jam it is far more accurate then I am. I am very happy with my PX4.

Thanks for the replies. I got her a Safariland 6378 which has a thumb retention. It's pretty tight and the storm comes out of battery and not locking in half the time going into the holster, but I think it will be fine after a few runs. A slight push with the thumb on the back of the slide will lock it in the holster and bring it back into battery. My wife has not shot it yet, which is my fault as I have been working the last 21 days straight... This weekend, if it's not a snow storm, we plan to go out and give it a run. She is still waiting for her RPAL in the mail so she can't go without me... Yet... ;) I will order her the 775's as suggested as well. Thanks!
