They only do government/military work.

To test your action #### the hammar lightly to see if the cylinder locks. Then press the trigger and the cylinder should turn slightly and lock. Obviously it is not double action but it may single action. This mostly indicates a worn hand which can be repaired by a good gunsmith. Try Steve Holburn Warren On. With a Colt that far out of time there should be lots of side splatter from the cylinder gap. Be careful the gun shouldn't be fired until fixed.
