Q about auto bolt release mod for 10/22

So I'm trying to do the auto bolt releast mod for my 10/22.

I've dremeled the heart shape away and it seems very straight now but it still won't auto release. Should I continue dremelling?

I did mine by hand, yeah straight won't work, it needs to be rounded.

Take a look at the picture in the 10/22 tips forum. It will show you exactly where to round it.

You need to radius not leave it flat.
