Q. Tikka T3 B&C hows the fit?

Anyone own a B&C #1042 for the T3? Hows the fit? Does it mate well with the action and floating recoil lug? Did you end up having to bed the action?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Highly considering one and also wondering what was your ball park cost?

it fits ok. a little gap so as to know its free floated. bottom plastic drops in nicely and it seems to fit well at the lug. it was a straight bolt in. i will wait until i shoot it a few more times to determine if i will bed or not. same aluminum bedding block system as h&s uses. i have two h&s stocks one bedded on not and both shoot well. check with prophet river they often carry them. around the $300 mark. good enough i would buy another one.

Yep, check with Clay, he wasd a few listed on his website. As for having a BC stock, I dont on my T3's as mine are the laminate stocks.

I have two - both work good. Bedded both. As mentioned, its a alum block with built in recoil lug, so no more floating recoil lug! Did improve the 300wsm accuracy bigtime, but marginally on 223.

Chrismc - I have heard the exact same from others - with heavier recoiling chamberings you see more iomprovemnet than with light recoiling ones.

Normally, we have them in stock. However, backordered, like everything else in the USA. Good news is a few will be here late this week.
