QD sling mount on BC Tactical VZ58 handguard

Anybody use the QD mount on the BC Tactical handguard? Is it a better mounting location for the sling than the factory ring? I'd be running a factory fixed stock with it.

Any QD swivel as good as the next, or are there some to steer clear of?

QD even works well on the FABARMS plastic handguards. I went with a Daniel Defense QD mount I bought on Amazon.

The only ones I've ever used are the BFG ones, but that was really just because I was getting a sling at the same time. I've heard the UTG ones can be hit and miss on quality, so I'd say any $15+ swivel would do you just fine (Blackhawk!, BFG, etc).
