Quad Gun?

I bought this old 1958 vintage Marlin 336A off the EE a few weeks ago. Someone had removed what was left of the 50 year old bluing with sandpaper...looked bad...real bad....so I cut & crowned the 24" barrel back to 18-1/2", drilled and tapped for the front site, beadlasted it had it dipped in a phosphate plating tank,looks like grey Parkerizing.......it looks good.

the park isnt so bad, but the monte carlo stock sure looks fug on a lever

on the stocks?...the metal?..or both?

The Monte Carlo will stay...fits me well, someone scalloped out the left side to get a better cheek weld, the sites line up very nicely when shouldered.
