does anyone have any pics or opinions of the samson star c model as well as the TROY MRF-C 7". just wondering what one is better to go with. its for a stag.

I've had a Troy MRF-R for a couple years now. No complaints. It's been moved onto a couple different uppers, and the rails always lined up perfectly with the top rail of the receiver.

I run the lightweight YHM on my RRA 16" h-bar. Works great, no complaints and is rock solid. Mind you .... It was a little front heavy with the h-bar front and the collapsible stock but has balanced nicely now since the Magpul install on the ass end!

Here you go......

The Aimpoint/FUG/Surefire get swapped out for a 3-9 MR/T in a Larue SPR-S mount and a bipod gets attached for longer range stuff. Pretty much covers all the stuff I need a carbine for.
