I'm a bird hunter from Winnipeg (ducks, geese, huns, sharpies & turkey). I have an opportunity to spend about 10 days in Kelowna next month. I see there is a quail season out there. I'm wondering if anybody can tell me about it and whether it would be worth bringing the gun.

Not sure you would even need a gun, I think you could limit out with rocks! For whatever reason the quail population has exploded here the last few years. I live in a residential subdivision and I have about 15 of them hanging around in my yard at any given time. I have never actually looked for them in areas that you can hunt in, but logically they should be there. There is a ton of grouse to be had this year as well.
