I've been shooting my 10/22 for the first time in over a year and I'm really disliking the ATI-AR22 stock I got for it. Super annoying to see through the irons on it and the folding part is super wiggly. Anyone got a suggestion, especially ones with a longer LOP

hey man,
theres a lot of great options for the 10/22, the after market is pretty extensive. are you looking to stay with the tactical ascetic or maybe something more traditional or something more popular at the moment?
(I've noticed popularity changes like the wind and whatever is huge at one time goes away and then makes a come back eventually.)

The butler creek folders are quite sturdy although I hear they're hard to find lately. I like the look if the new magpul stocks although I haven't had one in my hands. Hogue is always a failsafe. Most of mine wear hogues.

I kinda like the tacticool look, but I'll probably pick up a GSG-15 to scratch that itch. So really just something that has a decent build quality, and if it happens to look like a black rifle bonus.

You know you can buy the SR22 chassis kit separately? 3 part kit from Iron Eagle Tactical, and they ship to Canada. Then pick your AR buttstock, HG, and grip, and go full tacticool!

I got the ATI Strikeforce on my 10/22 and I like it. It's cheap, lots of included options, no fancy bull#### and it does the job.
It come with rails or stock options in the box. You are free to put everything or leave it all as blank as possible. The stock is foldable yet sturdy. The only downside so far, is that you need to remove 6 screws at the front + the main body screw to disasemble the rifle with that stock.

I'v used it a few time already and it fixed all the problems I had with the factory stock that was too small for me.

I have had the Archangel deluxe target stock on two of my 10/22s & I am very pleased with the way they perform.

They are not the most attractive stock but I like the adjustable butt plate & high comb for shooting from the bench.

Here's a couple of pics.

I ended up buying the Archangel Deluxe Target Stock. It's exactly what I was looking for. I even set it up with a Caldwell 6"-9" pivot bipod. The stock looks and feels really nice. The bipod on the other hand seems like it won't hold up (time will tell).
