Hi,

I'm shopping around for a good AR15 upper around the price of $800-900.00 I would prefer that it doesn't have a front sight, as I would be running flip up sights. Can anyone recommend a brand and where to find it in Canada. I'm new to the AR 15 game, and really don't know where to start. Will be used for all round shooting.

I'm looking at adding a "cheaper" lower and adding in a Geissele Automatics: Super Dynamic Combat Trigger. The reviews on this thing are just amazing so I'm willing to try it!

Will it just be for general plinking or will you be trying it in competition?

For all-round use there are many good brands where uppers are available...lots of threads on this - Colt, DD, Noveske, etc. In your price range one of the best might be one of the Danish Colt IUR uppers that were released last year. One is for sale in the EE right now.
 
Intended purpose will help us give you a better, more detailed response.
I don't want to recommend a 7.5" upper when you want to shoot right groupings out past 400 meters, or an SPR type upper if you want to make a lot of noise and fireballs.
