Replaces mag cutoff??? WTF...might get in the way of shells ejecting no? Hahaha.

The other ad says it goes on over the ejector screw and has a clamp.

Anyone experienced one of these items?

Would love to find a good functional, no modifications SMLE mount.

BTW, Cabela's Canada lists this mount...but every picture you see is different??

Some I've seen are of the No 4 mount...about half of the pics you see of the Sun mount show the No 4 mount.

From what I've read, the ATI ones are not good...which leaves...S&K.

I decided to stick with quality and order a 1370 mount from S&K...they do ship directly.

They have either a Weaver mount or an S&K ring mount. The S&K rings are windage adjustable, which scares me...why? You move the front ring over to the right, leaving the rear ring where it is...you now have 2 rings not lined up with each other. Along comes your scope and...tweeeeaaaaakkkk. You've just tweaked the tube.

S&K has improved their SMLE mount according to them. The earlier ones had a breakage problem which is now fixed. Lifetime guarantee, US made.

$103.20 US shipped.

Looking good: much better than the older ones.

October 18 is not that far off. I think I know what I'm buying for me for a birthday present!

I have this pair of Mark I***s, a 1907 Enfield Navy and a 1904 LSA Army; just want to see what they will do.

Price is okay, too. The old ones were C$115, over 20 years ago.

I gave up on 'no gunsmith" no 1 mkIII mounts, mind you I haven't tried the 'latest greatest'
I just make my own :D
I've posted pics of other ones I've made but these two are my latest rendering.
all made at home, DIY as they say.
these are resurrected muzzle damaged sporters , modified to 19"
the receivers were drilled and tapped for the old weaver TO-1 dovetail mount when I acquired them so I made my mounts to suit the existing holes/thread
no milling machine required although one would come in handy to clean it up a bit.
going to give them a media blast and coat them with arma coat.
and no, I do not make these for sale hehehe
