Being new to rifle shooting and "scoping", can anyone recommend the Leapers scopes that Marstar are selling or is the old adage "you get what you pay for "apply in cases like this? Has anyone had experience with these scopes? Thanks!!

Sounds like a plan. I have a sportized 303 Mk4no1*/iron sightsm to be used for hunting deer/moose. I talked to Marstar and they said their Leaper scopes hadd a lifetime warranty, any problems they would replace it,not having to deal with any other parties. Sounds good but ?

I have one on a 223 and I can put 5 shots in the same hole at 100 yards
but at full power it gets a little hazy
but for the price its not bad

with scopes for the most part you get what you pay for.
if your looking for quality at a decent price, give a pm to Cyberk a contributing dealer here.
he carrys the falcon line of scopes, they are around $350-$400 + tax/shipping but are on par with several of the big name high dollar lines.

Although more expensive, Nightforce followed by Leupold (arguably one before the other) are by far the best value for your money. Optics performance is close to Schmit/Bender or USO at half the price.

Both are equally durable.

Is this the PRECISION rifles section or teh optics section?
