Hi, I'm thinking about going for moose in the Dumoine Zec.

It looks like you have to show up Labour day weekend to claim a spot ?

first check if this year they re taking non-resident hunters.

and you'll have to be at least two for hunting the moose and they'll tell you where to go so I imagine not the best spots.

Thanks, the woman in the office didn't say anything about not accepting non residents but good questions to ask.

Plan was to fish / scout in the summer so knowing where my 'spot' was is important.

yes check where they will put you and be sure they ll not changing it ..

Hey med ved, thanks for the reply, seems like you had a unhappy experience. Was it in the Dumoine Zec ?

I may just go for bow or muzzle loader season and avoid the chaos.
